40% Of London Children In Poverty
A report revealed today that 2 in 5 London children live in poverty.
The capital has the highest proportion of deprived children in the UK with 700,000 below the poverty line.
Children living in inner London are worst hit with more than 50% living below the poverty line. Many families survive on less than £150 a week.
Children's charities have branded the figures a national disgrace.
